I like Opus but anything above $15 is too much.... I say this hits $102 a piece.... or about the same as a box of Partagas shorts:)

well it's up to $57 now. I understand that there are collectors willing and able to pay $100+ for rare and vintage cigars. Hell I suppose if money was no object I might fork over the silly amounts of $$$ required to get my hands on some vintage Dunhills or Davidoffs, but an Opus? why? Even as an investment, I can't imagine it gaining enough value to buy and hold.

It will still be fun to watch how high this thing goes.

They are all overrated imo. Better cigars to be had for much less. You're paying for bragging rights. gg

I'm not gonna bid. If I had one, I'd make someone else smoke it. I'd try it though.

Scothew

Ive been trying to find some rare really good smoke made in 2005 which was the year my son was born. Maybe to smoke when he's 10 or when he's 18 heck idk, but although my sons worth it.. the thought of paying that much money isnt :p

Besides, now I gotta find something from 2009 to celebrate my daughter thats due in a couple months.

If I wasn't so against price gouging (speeling) I'd sell off mine. But no, that's just not right.

Holy **** that's funny! By the way, you can buy the Chili Peppers at Corona Cigar for $50. Some people will do anything to win an auction I guess.

In all honesty, if I really, really wanted to try a cigar that was a hundred bucks, I'd spend it. I just haven't found one yet.
30 bucks is pretty much my threshold of pain.
That's why it's so fun trading. If I trade 100 bucks worth of cigars for a $30 cigar I really want to try, I'm happy. Mildly retarded and math challenged perhaps, but happy. :)

I want to believe that whoever is bidding on this will come to their senses. I don't think over $75 though.

For me to pay $100 for a cigar there had better be a naked woman attached to it.:dr:tu
