I think there is a measuring tool on his site. The % all depends on how you like your smokes. I started with 70% then changed to 65%. I then sold my heartfelt and went with Shilala beads as they are less maintainance. :2

Gotcha. Seems like a pound will be a bit overkill for my rig, but reading on the site says overkill = a-okay.
Thanks again guys, just placed my order.

More than you need is better than not having enough.

Both Heartfelt and Shilala are great and both are good folks. I personally prefer Shilala's Packaging method. Both can also give good advice on quantity but I have found things work better with a little extra quantity.:)

I also have a 300 ct humidor, but it's the El Diablo one...would 1 pound of beads be too much???

More is always better. I've found that one pound works wonderfully in keeping my humidor at 70%. I've 1# spread out in 3 bags around the humidor.

I've got the same one as one of my seven. I've got 8 oz on the bottom and 4 oz on top. Rock solid at 65.
You'll find the 300 count is actually closer to 200 when you put larger rg sticks in it.

how do u like the el diablo humidor??? do u think the spanish cedar smell is too strong?? I'm wondering if it'll adversely affect the flavor of my cigars?

It's good enough for the cigar manufacturers, it's good enough for me.
It'll add a little cedar bite to the first ones you store, but settle in after a month or so.
