We've been serving it at the Brewery in Boston for a few weeks now. I've also been seeing it in local bars/pubs/liquor stores in Boston. I was in Florida this weekend and saw it on draft at a restaurant. I guess it takes longer to make it's way out to the left coast.

I dig it too bro.
If you like the SA Oktoberfest, you should try the Spatten Oktoberfest! I've come to look for that more than any other when this time of the year rolls around.

I got a keg of this on Friday and we've really been enjoying it. It wasn't my first choice, but it was definitely the best option of the kegs available. Easy-drinking, tastes good, and goes well with cigars. I'll probably be hitting the tap again as soon as football starts today :)

Got together with some good friends this past weekend up at Bethany Beach, DE. We had a "Taste Off" between the SA Oktoberfest and Harpoon's version. Harpoon won by a landslide--it had a better hop/malt balance which my buddies preferred. If you have some in your area, pick it up. :tu
We also ventured up the road to the Dogfish Head brewery for a tour & sampling. My first venture this year with their Punkin Ale draft (very good, seemed like a cross between SA's Winter Lager & an Oktoberfest.)
Soon as I upload some photos, might have to start a new thread about my adventures there!

I just stopped at the store and asked when it would be in. The guy told me he TURNED IT DOWN because it was too early. As he was turning white from me choking him, he promised me he'd get it next week for me. Then he sold me spaten, which I'd been wanting to try. I know others swear by it, but it isn't doing anything for me. Next week can't come soon enough.

Sam Adams uses the English-ized "Octoberfest" appellation rather than the correct German "Oktoberfest". So if somebody is selling Sam with a "K", it is as counterfeit as a glass-top Cohiba.
BTW, I did NOT get the case I ordered last week, My rep was just in here, and said they sold out of the first shipment of bottles in two days. I was assured I'd get it in tomorrow, since they just got another thousand cases in the warehouse. Then there will be one more shipment, and no more until next year.
