I'm in a contest for wood turning on Fine Woodworking's website. I've made the top 15 so far but now it's up to the public to vote. If you feel my piece is worthy, I'd like to ask for your vote. My piece is called Monsoon. Here's the link.

Thank you all so very much and thanks for all the kind compliments. That vessel was a challenge of the mind, soul and sanity in so many ways.:D

Believe me, cutting miters for a picture frame perfect the first time is almost impossible for me for some reason yet I can cut 48 miters and make a perfect ring. :confused:

I do wood character carving and have been at several shows through out the Midwest and have not seen a piece in your category done as well as yours
