I'm sure within a few months we'll all hear about this story being a hoax... there are so many stories like this. I think there was a recent one about Big Foot that was on CNN as well... what do you know, a few months later it turned out to be a joke that some kids were playing.

My sister works for Maynard Keenan (lead singer of Tool) at his vineyard... he has a great sense of humor as he named one of his wines Chupacabra. He even named the place itself Merkin Vineyards. Those of you unfamiliar with with a Merkin, it's a pubic wig. I didn't know what it was until I started chemo and read a book by Robert Schimmel about his experience with lymphoma. Thought it was pretty funny myself.

They had these on the TV show MonsterQuest and the DNA testing showed that these are just dogs. http://www.history.com/search.do?searchText=chupacabra

I know it's a fake - I was married to the real Chupacabra until our divorce five years ago!!!:D

Not only are they just dogs, they are VERY popular and sought after dogs
down in ol Mexico, and throughout Latin America.
