When I clicked on the link, I was like what is the problem? Then I saw that it was for a 5'er.
Some people are crazy :jd :bh

That's insane!! I guess if you have the money spend it, but something tells me the guy who won that isn't rich. Most better off people are smart about the way they spend money.

People pay that price on CBid all the time. There are some great buys on Devil site, there are also a lot of clunkers, Anejo and Opus on there go BONKERS prices.

Well while we might know different just google Anejo. The top two results usually are sites selling for 25-30 per cigar. That bidder might think it is a good deal.

What's really sad is it's an auto bid, which means someone most likely bid that up that high as well.

This issue comes up frequently and I can't help to think it's because people don't read the description carefully. They SEE a photo of a full box of Anejos but fail to read the description indicating it's for a 5'er.
I'm sure the cbid people are completely unaware this happens when they post a photo of a full box.

I am guilty of paying $ 29.00 for an Anejo #55. I wanted to try one so bad...that I paid that crazy prize.

I just paid $57 for 3 GOF Piramides. Felt like I spent way too much but $20+ for an anejo is nuts.

No, but to be fair they are not that easy to find at MSRP. Maybe he has got the money but not the time to hunt them down.

Or somebody was prodding him. I do that on e-may sometimes to see where the limit is. Every now and then I buy stuff I don't really want at an inflated price :r
