My best buddy in the whole world played with Hank Jr. for about 15 years. He's a preacher now. I talk to him every day. He's my brother from another mother.
He called today and while we were talking he said "ya call that a near miss" and we laughed till we cried.
Ain't no one else in the world that would have a clue what we were talking about, but man, was it funny.

I've been listening to Willie since I was a kid. Although I love all of them, Georgia, Blue Eyes Crying in the Rain and Seven Spanish Angels are my favorites.

Man, I used to hate country music when I was a kid, and I pretty much still do. But the names in this thread are musicians that I love listening to. Outlaw country is some good shiz. Was just listening to a little Luckenbach a couple of days ago.

Waylon's "Dreaming My Dreams" album. One of the finest
" I've seen the world with a five piece band, staring at the back side me,
singing my songs and one of his now and then, but I don't think Hank done it this way"
