The time has come where I want to go a step up from my Baby Gaggia (maybe a big step) and am torn between the Brazilia Mini Classic and the NS Oscar.

The Brazilia wins on looks by a mile, but the reputation of the Oscar has me really thinking this one hard.

I'm coming off a plastic shell lachine, so I'm not sure another one in my remodeled kitchen thrills me.

I think these 2 are the most suitable for me, but if there is something else to consider, I would be grateful for any suggestions.

As shallow as it seems, like a Harley, chrome is a definite benfit.

On a Harley, chrome won't get you home, and I am working on a clever phrase concerning espresso machines....

WTH? Never thought about it til your post. I have a tupperware espresso machine (Oscar) and a tupperware motorcycle (GoldWing).

During bike week I notice a lot of heavily chromed motorcycles travel the interstates on trailers and in the back of pickup trucks. Regardless, they look spectacular. After many bottles of Mother's and years of toothbrushing chrome I've settled, very happily, on lowest maintenance plus highest performance and operational readiness.

The looks of the Oscar have been better on the counter than I expected but a plastic housing isn't the fashion statement you get from a Livia, Tea, etc.

Plastic or chrome notwithstanding, I'd probably pick the Bra' (if, first, I knew a LOT more about it) because of the E-61 grouphead given price and clean-up were not issues. The machines you mention are good performers but for different mindsets.

The phrase your looking for is... Naw. No way. Lets not go there.

As usual, a beauty from Mr Moo.

PS. I love Goldwings. Turn the throttle on those, you better hang on tight.

Not looking good. I am on a first name basis with a rep at WLL and getting specs on the Brazilia.

To make matters worse, and this is embarrasing, to be clever and match Dan's photo, I put my Baby Gaggia on the Harley in the garage for a pic and as I went for my camera, I heard a crash.

It was the baby Gaggia falling off the seat and I broke a switch.

To Bling or not to Bling, that is the question.
