My wife and I will be in Arlington and the Dallas area next week and I'm looking for a nice restaurant to take her to. As nice as I can get without a jacket and tie and I'm not too worried about cost. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Steak and seafood are usually what we go for.

Big area. Lots of great restaurants.

A few of my favorites:

Dallas
Javier's www.javiers.net (also has a great cigar lounge in the back)
Al Biernat's www.albiernats.com
The Mansion on Turtle Creek www.mansiononturtlecreek.com

Fort Worth
Lonesome Dove www.lonesomedovebistro.com
St. Emilion www.saint-emilionrestaurant.com
Del Frisco's (also has other locations) www.delfriscos.com

Arlington
Drive through it ;)

If steak and seafood is what you want my suggestion would be Chamberlains (http://www.chamberlainsrestaurant.com/). I don't know if your willing to drive out to Addison but this is by far my favorite steak and seafood place.
