I didn't know Sam's Club sold Premium Cigars. I'm sure they sell your Swisher, Phillies etc. I'd be surprised to find these at Sam's, but I could be wrong.

I'm still waiting as well, fellas. I looked into it and they said it could take 48 hours or more to receive the coupon. Don't ask me why it takes so long, but for free dollars and free cents, I guess I can wait. I went to the site about 10 minutes before I posted link. So, it's still not at the "48 hour" mark, yet.
After all, it's not like I don't have anything to smoke while I wait. :D

Not me. Back when the Partagas Black labels came out, Patagas put free cigar coupons in CA mags and sent the retailers specific cigars to hand out for their promo. I'm sure the Newman's marketing people have given the actual cigar distribution some thought.

I've gotten coupons before from Altadis and General. I hear ya as far as "feeling strange", I always purchase something else while I'm there to alleviate my unwarranted guilt. After all, the B&M, in the long run, usually benefits from this type of coupon, due to the fact that most people will purchase more cigars while they're there. Plus, the issuing company, either supplies the promo sticks or reimburse the B&M or retailer.

Just buy a stick or two while you're there, it's not like you were going to get out of there with just one cigar anyway. :D

It's not Newman's distribution strategy that I'm concerned with. I just said I would feel a little strange using a coupon at the B&M. Just got back from the local B&M, I had a coupon and wife had one...redeemed both without any problems. The owner was unaware of the free coupon, made a call to El Baton and BINGO, I walk out with two free sticks!!! If you read the coupon, the B&Ms are getting reimbursed for these sticks, hence to control # on your coupon. Great deal!!! Free 99 is my price!!!

I tried a couple of these before at a JC Newman event at my local shop. I think they are much better after a couple of months in the humidor.
Only took about a day to get the coupon. Showed up in the junk mail folder.
The hard part will be getting out of the shop with out spending too musch $$.

I used my coupon at an event at Club 888 in Fullerton. I smoked 2 last night. The first one I smoked was flavorless. The 2nd I smoked later on an night and it was ok. Nothing to go crazy over, but hey, a free stick is a good stick ;-)
