She supports me smoking, but the buying not so much.
My girlfriend thinks its a good thing that cigars help me relax and that I have a hobby, she also likes how I met so many great people who all share the same passion.

As long as I smoke outside and keep to a reasonable budget, she has no problem. Better than cigarettes and she likes the fact that a cigar relaxes me and makes my personality closer to Mr. Rogers than Atilla the Hun.:D

Its really funny that people still tell me that its bad for me. I have to remind them im a Nurse and have spent alot of time working in Oncology. I know its bad for me - Im will to take the risk for the heavenly enjoyment.

Thankfully my wife enjoys the smell of a nice cigar and one of here own from time to time. I think it's in her blood as she is 100% Cuban. :D I smoke outside or in the shed as I don't like the morning cigar smell in the house.

I'm one of the fortunate ones I guess. Mrs. Brew loves my habit, and joins in about ¾ of the time. I have to keep her stocked up with Tatiana Cappuccinos, Isla del Sols, and Leon Jimenes Cafe Dominicanas. If I do that, we smoke in bliss together!
My wife has no problem as long as I don't get wild with purchases. She likes to taste what I'm smoking and occasionally smokes small flavored cigars.

My wife expresses concern for my health every now and then, but other than that she is fine with it and is my regular smoking companion. I tell her I don't smoke often enough for it to be a major risk, and even if I did, the stress reduction benefit far outweighs the possible harm in my book.

When we were dating everything was cool... It's only after we got married that she began to nag about the cigars (and golf for that matter). She can't complain about the money, because I only spend my personal money. I think her complaints are more health related.

The wife is NOT a fan of cigars. But, she also recognizes that if there is something I enjoy that doesn't affect her or the kids, then I should be able to enjoy it. I don't smoke around them at all.

The wife has no problem with me smoking or buying. She has bought them before herself and worked through a friend for another purchase for me. I don't smoke in the house out of respect for her and my step-son. I do get the occasional "you stink" or "there's a lot of smoke out here tonight", but no b!tching or anything.

Well, once you assemble a really good stash, I'll start nagging you and telling you to quit smoking cigars. I'll say earnestly that you should just let me destroy all those cigars you bought because they're so bad for you. I'll light them on fire and nobly save you from them, one cigar at a time. :r

My wife likes that I enjoy it. She says as long as I don't smoke too many (I smoke about 3-4 a week), she is happy I find enjoyment in them, and she likes the aroma. While I spend too much on "collecting" cigars, she doesn't complain about it because she knows I always shop for a good deal and I pay with my debit card, not a credit card. She will enjoy one with me sometimes (she likes smaller ones like petite coronas or cigarette-sized ones). Once in a while she enjoys a cigarette, but I bought her a pack of imported Dunhills at a cigar lounge and she likes them. I've got to say, for cigarettes they smell very good.

My wife does not believe it is that healthy, and is concerned with any cancer risk (especially with a new baby due in a few weeks). Her main concern through is how I stink after smoking cigars. If they did not make my smell so bad, she says she would not mind them as much at all.

She even has her own private little stash.
She doesn't complain that I smoke in my office, or in the shop, She say's My home is my castle.
She doesn't really like the fact that I smoke a few cigaretts a day, but I roll my own out of natural additive free tobacco so she really doesn't bug me about it.

Mine will sit outside with and steal puffs of what I have. I am thinking about getting a couple of small flavored ones for her to try. Sometimes she makes comments about my investment, but since I sold the Harley she is ok with my new hobby. It's cheaper and less likely to get me run over by a blue hair that can't drive anymore.

I have never lit up in my house because I have young children . When my wife discovered I was smoking cigars I noticed that it kind of endeared me a little more to her , she said "My father used to smoke cigars every day when I was a little girl" . Next gift giving occasion where I was the recipient , she got me a Csonka travel case , lighter and some cigars . And I thought she would be upset that I was "A SMOKER" . God Bless her little heart . I do smoke in my car but never with my wife and kids in it with me . While she has never said I can't smoke in the house , I don't really think I could get away with it , but you never know . :ss

My GF is pretty good about the whole thing except the smell sometimes. I do get some complaints about me stinking up her curly fro, but on the flip side she has also commented on how well some of the CC's I had been gifted smelled. As with anything, the amount of money I spend can be a point of contention since I inherited the shopping gene and I OCD out on various things (hence the 80+ orchids in our apartment). She can be quite supportive as well, making sure I can get out to have a smoke or orchestrating trips to the cigar shop (especially since I'm down a car atm). I can't get her to share one though. I did make some headway with a puff or two off my pipe the weekend before last, but I think it was fleeting.
If we had a house, she just stated, that she wouldn't have a problem with having a den/mancave smoking room. Are posts on a message board admissible in court? :D

When we were engaged and shortly after we were married, she would take a few puffs off my cigars from time to time. Anymore, she'd rather me go elsewhere to smoke. There must be something that changes in a woman once they give birth that changes their stance on cigars.
I don't even give a rats behind about those who threaten health risks for smoking cigars-after watching my dad who quit smoking for like 30 years and a woman very much like another grandmother who never smoked both die from cancer, you're going to get it no matter what you do and when it's your time to go, it's coming your way in one form or another.
Gimme a shout and we'll meet up...there are a couple of cigar friendly places close to me on the southeast side of Indy.
