ok, I have never seen this before, so I thought I should post it here..
I decided to smoke a cigar that I was sent for my bday, it turned out to be plugged and burned crooked so I decide to correct it by cutting a part of it off and relighting it...
I cut it and feel my cutter hitting something hard, I open the cigar up and a stone falls out...

messed my cutter up pretty bad unfortunately, but I have a backup, this really fits the rest of my day/week/month perfectly :( FML

Wow! How could that not have been put there on purpose! Do you think it was just a gag from the roller? Maybe pissed off that day?

Unfortunately we'll never know much about the origins, since if that was the yellow-cello "mystery stick" I sent, it was from one of a number of estate buys and did not come with a box. They're in the category of "this is a cool old cigar from whoknowswhen, let's smoke it and see if it's any good", so I pass them out at herfs for sh*ts and giggles. I've never come across anything like that in one of those. Or in any cigar actually.
I feel awful about this. What cutter did you break?

I have no idea, but I hope to never encounter something like this again, this can mess up your day (and your swiss army knife cutter)

That would suck, since I'm looking for a merchant local to him to see about a replacement. :(
Hope it wasn't a kidney stone.:tu

No, there is no need to replace anything, you know I have more then one cutter, besides, according to wanger you are not the only one looking to replace it :p
You couldn't have known and I am gratefull for a chance to try these old cigars, that I would otherwise never have access to.
Besides, I tried smoking rock now and know its not for me :p

That is crazy. I was at a herf and a friend was telling me how last week he was smoking and had a bead come out (one of the hair beads). That was enough to make me sick.

The rock is called a "heating stone" made to ensure that your cigar is at optimal temperatures during smoking. End of thread. ;)

I have seen this one other time when I was smoking a Thompson's 'cigar' given me by my brother in law. The stone was no where as large as this one though.

I've heard the rumors/urban legends of military armorers shipping home a weapon piece by piece. Maybe that roller was trying to steal the factory a little at a time and relocate to the States! :D
Sorry 'bout your cutter but you ended up with a good smoke anyway, as well as a good story and souvenir.

trust me, it's cheaper to buy it in the US and send it over. For example, a Palio cutter is about 35 bucks in the US and triple that price here.

What the?...
I've had long hair, plastic threads, and a small metal nail.....but a freaking rock? I can just see the rollers at the local cantina, " What did you guys roll in the cigars today?" " I put in some plastic threads", "me?.. I put in some long hairs from the woman next to me!", "Oh, yeah?! I put in a rock! Lets see that Gringo suck on that cigar. HAHA!"
You are now the Charlie Brown of CA.....you got a rock.

Your Swiss Army cutter has a lifetime warranty if it's a Victorinox or Wenger so just mail it off to them and they'll either repair it or replace it (they usually just replace it) and all you're out is the shipping.
