he guys i was just wanting to ask when did af start makeing opus x cigars?
a well known london cigar merchant i wont name names but thay are world famous . has offerd me a Opus X Fuente Fuente Reserva 1's at a price i carnt say no to but he says the date on them is 1992 but i was of the opinion that thay didnt start makeing them till 1995? . can eny of the ca inmates help with with correct date these cigars were first made . and thanks in advance guys and girls

If I remember correctly, they were first released in 1995, but used the tobacco crop from '92. The 1992 on the package just signifies the date of the original crop, not when those cigars were released. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong

Says released in 95' but perhaps the "reserva" part makes them older.

The OpusX project was started in 1992 (or should I say, they harvested the first wrapper from the seeds of hope on Chateau de la Fuente in the Dominican Republic) and were released late '95. One of my favorite cigars of all-time!!

Reserva is the size, its the Reserva D' Chateau.

I love Opus Cigars,,,I still have a Reserve made in 1998.

All Opus packaging says 1992, even those that will be released this year.

Are there authorized Fuente dealers in the UK? If so, hope your low price was at one of those as there are fake Opus floating around.
