A little background..... I just moved 8 houses down from my Brother in Law. In the past whenever we would get together we enjoyed the occasional cigar. My B-I-L has never really strayed from that. Id provide the cigars he'd supply the booze and that’s just the way it was. He smoked a cigar to smoke and only had one when I was around.

Since my infiltration into the neighborhood he has now enjoyed many cigars with me, sometime on a nightly basis. He is slowly developing a pallet and has even made a few purchases at the local B&M. During this time I have been introducing some old favorites that I've just plain forgot about.... Hoyas, Arturo Fuente (green band), St. Louis Ray, etc. He has also introduced me to smokes I've never had... SOSA, La Aroma De Cuba and a few others. Some have been great, some not so great. I’m not sure if its the company or my senses taking me back to my former days of cigar smoking, but revisiting these smokes and trying new ones on the blind has been an awesome experience for me. Watching another BOTL grow right before my eyes has been even better.

Nice story. I think it speaks to the fact that it is often the company that makes a great cigar.

I've been slowly weaning my future son-in-law off of cigarettes and on to good cigars. He has reduced the number of cigarettes he smokes a week which is a good thing. And he is even respectful and asks if I have a cigar I can spare.

I've recently been showing my best friend the ropes... even though I'm still kind of a newb myself.

Brought him to a couple Herfs and he loves it.

He bought a Tat Black and swears he won't smoke it until his wedding day!!!
