Hey guys,
just wanted to let everyone know that I got engaged a couple weeks ago!
We're doing the long engagement think, so we've got plenty of time to plan. Or at least it seems like it.:r With all the excitement, and all the planning we have to do, I think the thing that I'm most nervous about is having to dance in front of people.

Congrats!!! I'll spare you all the "It's all over, get out while you can" jokes. If you find a woman that is your friend as well as your "Lady", (equal parts of each), you will have a long and meaningfull relationship. All I can say is take your time, make sure it's right and congratulations!!! :tu
Don't worry about the dance, that's the least of your worries. I couldn't help myself...congrats, Tripp!! :wo

Congratulations Tripp!
I've been there twice. One was a big wedding, and one was a small wedding. I know you're not soliticiting advice, but I feel compelled...
If people prepared half as much for the marriage as they did for the wedding, the divorce rate would be half what it is now.
It's not about the party, it's about the vows.
What will you want to remember about that day 20 years from now? Think about that before the day.
Going into years of debt for an elaborate ceremony/party is stupid. You'll never be sitting around one day saying "Honey, I wish we had spent more money on the party we don't remember. What the hell were we thinking?"
