Can't find a thread similar to this... so let's hear what everyone drives on a daily basis/any special cars you keep in the garage!

I drive an '05 Acura TSX.... 6 SPD manual tranny. I love that thing. It's my first car. Just got it a few months ago.

comfy driver is a 07 4Runner Sport... so smooth

visceral car is a 85 Vette... (slightly modified ;))

then I have the motorcycle for really getting out there.

Nice. I wish I still lived in the mountain's so I could justify buying a jeep and taking it off the road somewhere.

Are you driving with a stock suspension or is it lifted up?

GTI and Wrangler are 2 completely different cars.

i thought i wanted low and fast but really i more of a high and slow kinda guy! The roads in richmond are horrible and that thing was low, plus the intake was so low I had to be very careful about driving through puddles and crap, it would have been a great 2nd car but not a daily driver.

Gotcha.

I am liking the TSX but everytime I come to a red light, I always wish for a little bit more torque in the lower gears and 50 more horsepower. It is a very comfortable car to drive though. My first manual, and a very easy car to learn in.

I haven't done anything to it yet.. no pics either. As of now it's just a stock 2005 Milano Red TSX.

I am not too sure what I want to do with it yet. One of the first things is I'd like to lower the suspension a little and put 18 inch wheels on it (I need new tires anyway... the stock all seasons are garbage). Then I'd like to put in an ipod console under the climate control.

At some point, I want to start covering up all the chrome that comes with the car... maybe put some black vinyl to cover up the door trim.

Basically my car looks like this:
http://globalmotorcarsllc.com/cars/?id=94830

There weren't any body changes form 04 to 05.

akakirby

nice, any wheels picked out yet? I like the Idea of less chrome! I'm not a fan of chrome I hate seeing a jeep all chromed out, just not my style!

Not yet... I am going to wait until I start saving up some money. I don't really need them for a few months until it starts to snow and ice. I don't want to drive around on these once the winter hits, so I will probably get them in late october or november.

I am thinking a 5 or 6 spoke black set.

Yeah, I was never a big chrome fan. I am not sure what, if anything, I can do about the door handles. Every time I walked by my car when I first got it, I thought it had been hit and the paint scraped off.

Stock options '01 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 extended cab. Only thing special about it is that it was one of the limited special production 5.7L with a 3.55 rear end (as opposed to a 5.3L engine, which was technically the largest stock production engine made for that year's half ton truck). Powerful and extremely fuel efficient for a V8 truck, it still can do it's share of hauling if I need it in a pinch.

Mostly makes a very nice road truck, getting about 24 on the highway and 18 in town if I avoid inefficient starts and stops.

Edit to add that it also burns through tires on the rear end pretty fast, but that's a small price to pay every 40,000 miles compared to every week at the pump.
