Sad news. Still waiting for details....

Like many of the greats, I think he only got better with age. Too bad his life has ended so early.

This is sad and according to Wikipedia, their is speculation that 4chan.org is involved. I've seen that website and to me it just looked like a forum for stupid pictures and stuff and anime.

Does anyone know any reason why 4chan.org could be implicated as being a part of this tragedy?

R.I.P. Kwai Chang Caine :(

David was from a creative family of actors. I remember his father in the movie "Grapes of Wrath". From what I know David's journey continues.

Reports are that he committed suicide by hanging himself. That is a bigger shock to me than dying at the age of 72.

well, that was with all respect to the actor of course. I really enjoyed him in that flick.

"David Carradine Found Hanged"...wow...very sad. From the reports I have read this sounds very similar to what happened to Michael Hutchence of INXS (in the circumstances of his death).

I think you, me, and David Carradine are the only people to have owned a copy of Circle of Iron.

He was a very good actor. Just sounds weird the way he died found hung to death in a closet in his hotel room. I guess he was fighting some demons or something. Shame that he left us still at a fairly young age.

The reports coming out on several news sites is that it wasn't suicide -- it was autoerotic asphyxiation. TMZ, Village Voice, and others reporting this.

I took a human sexuality class this semester and apparently autoerotic asphyxiation is very popular. Saw some pretty disturbing pictures. If you pass out and the rope you tied is a bit too short then thats all it take.

There is also a way of tying the rope around your neck and your ankles at the same time and pulling your legs in certain directions, but if you get a charley-horse or cramp and pull your legs down too far that will do it too.

My teacher went very in depth with this for some reason.
