I just watched this over the long weekend as I recovered from a cold (read: swine flu) and really enjoyed it so I thought I'd tell y'all about it. Watch for it playing on either Showtime or HBO, I can't remember which.

The Hunting Party

A young journalist, a seasoned cameraman and a discredited war correspondent embark on an unauthorized mission to find the no. 1 war criminal in Bosnia; they find themselves in serious jeopardy when they are mistaken as a CIA hit squad and their target decides to come after them.

The true story is found in a 2001 Esquire article entitled "What I Did on My Summer Vacation," in which Scott Anderson recounts how he and four other journalists, fueled by alcohol and mischief, halfheartedly tried to capture a notorious Bosnian war fugitive -- and almost succeeded. Something the entire Western world had allegedly been trying to do for five years, and these guys almost did it in two days. (The Esquire article is reprinted here (http://findingkaradzic.blogspot.com/2004_04_01_archive.html); it's a great read.)

So has anybody seen it or even heard about it (flick was made in 2007)???
