What is the best cheap ashtray... it will sit outside, be cleaned infrequently and hell, should be cheap enough not to worry about. Is the stinky good enough to handle the elements? Also, best place to buy the recommended ashtray.

Thanks guys.

:tpd: or just the clay drainage plate you would place under a clay flower pot. About $2 bucks of so depending where you purchase. Stinky dish at my local B&M $29.95....:ss

If you are looking for an actual cigar ashtray, anything cheap from cigarbid.com will do.

I'd go with the stinky if you want something that is not too expensive and is sturdy and something you aren't afraid to get dinged around about outdoors.

Seriously, though, I recommend you hit up your local Goodwill or Salivation Army or AmVets or similar-type thrift store & grab a nice good old-fashioned glass or ceramic cigar ashtray. If you don't find one the first time, you will on your second trip.

Look for an Anchor Hocking glass ashtray from the 60s. They're on eBay all the time and come in three sizes and about 5 colors. I'm working on collecting all of them. :)

Just ordered the stinky. I liked the fact it should be lighter then a big glass ashtray, I can rinse it with a hose every few smokes and be done with it. Thanks for the good deal on the GB.

It is extremely light and durable (stainless steel). I too liked the idea of not having to worry about as heavy glass ashtray and just rinsing it out when done. Low maintenance.

Mine arrived too... once you have one of these it is easy to see why they rock... like a Palio, made by cigar folks for cigar folks... nice ashtray and recommended.

Seriously, though, I recommend you hit up your local Goodwill or Salivation Army or AmVets or similar-type thrift store & grab a nice good old-fashioned glass or ceramic cigar ashtray. If you don't find one the first time, you will on your second trip.I was about to make my last JR cigar plug of the week, they have a couple deals on their website wherein you buy a certain box of cigars and get a free ashtray, or get the crystal one for 20 extra...BUT, this suggestion is the best one, Amvets, Salvation army, Goodwill, they all make very good use of the money you spend there, in times like these you owe it to yourself to shop there one in a while, AND there are good ties there too. That way you can PICK the ties you want rather than have people GIVE you ties you don't want.
You'd be quite surprised at what you will find that you want if you allow yourself to walk through there.
