Here's a list of the worst drivers in the US according to GMAC insurance.

http://autos.yahoo.com/articles/autos_content_landing_pages/993/where-the-worst-drivers-live/;_ylc=X3oDMTE5ZmdmcGVkBF9TAzI3MTYxNDkEc2VjA2ZwLXRv ZGF5BHNsawN3b3JzdC1kcml2ZXJz

And I thought CA drivers would be ranked higher. :r

Oregon should not have made the top 10. You'd think in a state that rains 3/4 of the year that people would know how to flipping drive in the rain. Heaven help us if it snows. People end up in ditches everywhere. People in this state are flipping morons while driving.

(That is if I read the chart correctly and 1 means good, 51 means bad.)

I think the study is a little misleading. It measured basic knowledge of driving laws. There is a BIG difference between knowing driving laws and actually being able to drive, IMO.

Good point. I was just going to say that I wonder how this relates to actual amount of traffic accidents per capita or however they would measure it

Definitely, I've been driving more lately and have found that Mass drivers express apologies using the single finger gesture. Most are in a great hurry to get in front of you, then realize they have no idea where they are.

Good job that's just the US - I'm pretty sure they've started giving out driving licenses in cereal boxes over here.

I'm going to flip it from NY to NJ when I move there later this year... :r :r

No wonder my insurance is so insanely expensive...

I just got rear ended in the Mickey D's drive through lane. Actually is was a tap but come on! Are you in that big of a hurry to pay!? I made a comment out the window and I check my rear view and she's laughing. So, I throw it in reverse and "bump" her back. She stopped laughing.

Christ!

I've been rear ended twice. Both times me and the car that hit me had stopped at a red light, then they rolled into me because they were distracted with the radio or phone and had taken their foot off the brake

Has anyone taken the test? I got 60%

Illinois is 29 on the list! That is rather shocking. I always thought IL drivers suck!

Any Americans scoring less than 75% on the driving test thing should be ashamed.

I scored 90% only because I am right and the test answers are wrong.:)
