This is a 4 ½ X50 Robusto-Med to light milk chocolate color, beautiful wrapper, no flaws seen, small veins, nicely constructed. Very dense rolled tobacco

Clipped easily, no particular pre-light taste coming through. Draw kind of tight but loosens up right after lighting.
First tastes that I was able to pick out after lighting was of light toasted nuts.
This is not a very dynamic cigar, by that I mean the flavor is pretty much the same- after the ashing and the purge the flavor just seemed to intensify—“light toasted nuts”.

Another thing I like about cigars is the long flavor profile…this did not have that. The flavor was there after the draw, then gone almost immediately.

My sister, who normally enjoys the smell of my cigars, came out of the house to say it stunk. HA HA

At the beginning of the last third the nuttyness increases along with a slight creamy flavor.

This is not a bad smoke just not a flavor profile that I enjoy. Thanks to Gerard(Kiasersozie) for the cigar.

I thought Connies came w/ a band? I like most Connie maduros, but this one looks like a different blend (despite not being a maduro).

Thanks for the review:tu

I cheated... It helped that Gerard sent me some Nats after I sent him a Maduro in a BTT! :D :D

Thanks for the review Kevin and great photo's of the #9. I have a bundle of the #72 in EMS wrapper resting at this time.

I've had the #9's before in Maduro and have really enjoyed them in the past. You can't go wrong with the price per bundle too:ss

I just smoked one of these. I've got about 40 in my humi. Not a high quality cigar, but not bad either for the price point. Mildly sweet, decent maduro flavor. Good construction. The wrapper on this cigar was rather mottled and veiny, but otherwise a decent mild smoke.
