1. Home roast
2. Intelligensia Black Cat
3. Malabar Gold
4. Locally offered Armando's Blend
I like it right from the spigot; with a dash of sugar; or as cappuccino. It just depends on the moment. Yum. Espresso.

No order;
Intelligensia Black Cat
Danesi
Illy
Home Roasted
Actually, I am not that picky and just buy beans from a local cafe down the street. The best beans I have had were actually home roasted by fellow cigar forum posters!
I like my Espresso just plain by itself. I prefer beans that are not too heavy on caffiene and not too dark roasted.

For me I use the stuff at the comissary, I know you may think it is nasty but I end up putting sugar and creamer in it anyways. I like it so I think that is all that matters.

I do not have a home espresso machine yet so this is from my experience using a moka pot. So far with many more to try my favorites are:
Uncle Beanz Malabar Gold Espresso - comes light roasted, a delicious blend that is very well balanced and silky smooth.
Terrior Daterra, Calabraia Style Espresso - a darker roasted bean, this one is a chocolate bomb. At times it is more like drinking hot chocolate than coffee.

Intelligensia Black Cat

Got me curious with that description, I Googled it and get only Italian pages, can't read Italian, and must ask where to buy some>????

Home roasted, with a pinch of sugar. Took a long time to get the roast right, but now I can't find one I like better!

Black Cat is good, but I'll give the nod to some of Counterculture's blends over Intelligentsia. Also, I do my own blend which is based mainly in Sumatra Aceh Gayo (generally about 50%) and whatever else is handy and interesting.
