Kioki Cigar's Troop Support Habano Robuston

It's a beautiful, breezy day in South Carolina. I can't think of better time to review the Kioki Cigars Habano Troop Support Cigar Robusto. This will be the second one I've smoked in order to be able to present a more accurate review.

First, let me say that anything that is done that will benefit our brave men and women who serve the United States of America is what I consider to be worth while. I salute you Eric and Kioki Cigars for all that you do for the troops. Now on to the cigar.

The smell of this cigar, pre-light, is wonderful. I love a cigar that reeks of cedar and this one does. The feel is nice. There are several large veins running the length of the cigar. It ain't the prettiest cigar I've ever seen but for me it's all about taste.

I toast the foot and then light this bad boy up. The draw is nice and smooth. My initial tastes are of sweetness. Very mild and smooth. The ash broke off at 1/2 an inch...right onto my keyboard!

The cigar starts to develop an earthy flavor. The sweetness is still there but not nearly as noticeable. Still very smooth. Still very mild.

Halfway and the cigar is developing just a hint of spiciness. The sweetness from early is now gone. Still very smooth but has turned into a nice medium bodied cigar. The ash continues to flake and fall off early. I don't recall the first one I smoked having this ash problem.

Bottom third and the spiciness has taken over. I'm really starting to "feel" this cigar on my lips. Just a little uneven burn at this point. I touch that up nub it down to about an inch and a half before it goes out on it's own.

Overall, I found this to be an interesting cigar. Sweet and mild with a spicy medium finish. Very smooth throughout.

That was gifted to me by one of our fine CA BOTL's. If you search for "Cigar Stand" on some auctions sites, you can find them. Very handy tool.:tu
