Tonight during league - there is another league on the right side lanes. In that league one guy bowled a 245. Not bad. He then followed that up with a 300. That's a perfect game for you non-bowlers. He then proceeded to back that game up with another 300.

That's two 300 games back to back. Including his first game - he threw 31 strikes in a row. Wow.

That is amazing. The best I ever did was 5 in a row.

Very nice. The best I have thrown was the first 9, then I was quaking in my shoes in the 10th frame and shanked it pretty good on the next throw. I think I wound up with a 263.

I've seen my share of 300 games from our league bowlers, an 800 series and several near miss 800 series, and a 7-10 pickup but nothing like two back to back 300s.

My only claim to fame was an all spare game. Now that was hard. :)

I'm assuming the guy is carrying a pretty good average?

Or he was hotter than a firecracker. :D

Or both. :ss

30 years of bowling and I'm still looking for my first sanctioned 300.
I did have one on couples fun night quite a few years ago, moonlight bowling.

I've had 18 in a row (7 to finish one game and the first 11 in the next for my first of 2 299's. Best series is probably in the 780 range. I still manage a few 700's every year at my advanced age.

Some nights they just fall, others not so much.

2 300's in one series is impressive, though.

Wow!

I can barely break 100!

In MA, it's candlepin bowling... Real bowling!

Very impressive Tim. I've yet to get a 700 series, been close with a 680ish. But I know what you mean on how some nights they just seem to fall.
