Good Morning! In the market for a new hygrometer. I have a radio shack model that takes a watch type battery. Every time I replace it the battery costs $5+ dollars. I end up walking funny out of the Radio Shack!
Any suggestions on a good hygrometer that takes AA/AAAs, smallish in size? If it can be calibrated even better.

my Xikar works great, you can get the batteries at any CVS or Walgreens. I think it's $5 for a pack of 6-8.

Or you could check EEE-Baaay. I think I picked up 20 watch batteries under $10.

Buy your batteries somewhere else. RS has horrible prices.

Ebay has a TON of batteries that are pretty cheap and seem to last a reasonable amount of time...
The plus for me, is the little laser pointer that we use to torment the cats uses the same batteries as my Hygros... so I buy in bulk cuz that thing eat the batteries lol... :r
