Mold, I say. looks more splotchy than crystalized.

Mold. Every one of these "mold or plume" threads invariably ends up being the same... I'd love to see one that actually was plume... :r

Not my cigar. Pic was emailed to me. My understanding is that they just arrived from a widely used vendor.

This is a 99 Hoyo...................I know what it is not, it is not mold.........plume or bloom something else? I will let you decide.

That is a sweet pic Shawn! I'd say it's pretty easy to tell the difference between mold and plume. Plume is fine, almost looks like fine salt to me. It is evenly dispersed. Mold is splotchy.
