Well I finally had my first Opux X and it was absolutely fantastic. Everything about it was great; the burn, the draw, the flavors, the construction. I am not a big cigar reviewer, as I do not have a whole lot of expirence, but I do now understand why these are expensive and so well liked. This cigar capped off a great day that included great scenery, great crawfish, and a great wife!

I can say that I've never met an Opus I didn't like. :D
I have never met an Opus :( I have to get some when they come out this year
I have one (a robusto) that I was gifted by DrHalle. I just haven't got around to smoking it yet.:tu

You will find a few Opus haters in the asylum... but I'm not one of them!
Now... I love them at MSRP - but I shy away from huge mark-ups. I do really enjoy them, though.
I am smoking some I have kept for a couple of years and they are NICE. Glad you had such a great day. :tu

Glad to see you liked it. Any cigar would be good with a day like that.

We are having a Herf in Jacksonville in May, and DrHalle will be there. I think I will bring it and smoke it there.:tu

Glad you enjoyed it. I like them with some age on them and close to MSRP. Just wait until you try an Anejo.

You know James I have a few of these but still haven't smoked any yet. I'll finally have to try one when my spring month long cold goes away. Nice stinky ;) and that's a huge ash!

I have been in love with Opus Cigars since 1998 and never looked back. Enjoy them every chance you get,,,BTW,,,the meals looks great. The wife and I love coming to New Orleans every year and will be coming soon right after JazzFest.

how long do you guys normally let the Opus X sit before you partake in them?
I have been lucky enough to pick up 9 of them in the past week and was wondering how long they should sit before lighting them up?
