I'm thinking of using a wireless IP camera to keep an eye on the front of my house. I'm thinking something simple in my front window would be good but can also install somthing outside. Does anyone have any experience with these?

Thanks,

MCS

I would definitely recommend an interior one. The ruggedized cameras can get pricey.

i deal with them all the time. I run a security company and may be able to get you some good prices on them if you are interested.

Not sure if you watched the Today show this morning.
Matt Lauer interviewed a woman that has been in the local news here in South Florida.
She lives a few towns north of me.
Happened to go on her web cam and saw burglars in her home.
Called 911 and they arrived in time to arrest them, while still in the house.
Here is what she used.
Lists for $299 but she paid $250.

The video is black and white but had a great wide angle view and was crystal clear.

I ended up with this one:

I figure with my porch light and street lights, we'll be in good shape. Thanks for the input!
