Thanks. But do you really think its fake? I did get it from a cigar shop connected to a mini mart . How can you tell?

There should be 3 squares above the black part. You could go to
www.cigarnexus.com/counsel/counterfeit/
www.vitolas.net/thumbnails.php?album=19
good luck. I hope you didn't pay too much for it. Sometimes people say fake ones occasionally taste good. I'm sure you'll be the judge of that.

I'm by no way an expert, but is it possible it one with an old style band? The pics seem to be down now though.

Nice start!

You will be able to compare your cigar to the ones listed here. http://www.cubancigarwebsite.com/brand.aspx?brand=Cohiba

If it were made prior to '03, it could.

That's what I heard from someone else, but I thought it needs to be air-tight.

All humidors allow for a tiny amount of air exchange. The good coolers seal just as well as any good humidor.

From what I remember before the photo's went down, the band was not embossed, it only had to rows of white squares above Cohiba, and it had "La Habana, Cuba." By the time I pulled a pic of a genuine older band the pics went down.

Yeah, I saw the pic and that is what it looked like to me. I pulled out an older cohiba and it looked like the same band.

My cooler holds a more consistent RH then both of desk top humidors with glass tops. David from heartfelt even advised me to leave the drain plug partially unscrewed to allow for a little air exchange.

Coolers rock!
