In the late 70's/early 80's they made different flavored Milk Duds. Banana, Cherry, Grape, etc. They were blatantly artificial flavored but I absolutely loved them.

One that went away but came back was Good-N-Fruity; the counterpart to Good-N-Plenty. When I saw those at my local Target, I was overjoyed.

We'll never know. Rat bastards.

Along the same lines, the classic Orange/Cherry/Grape Popsicle line (The flagship of all frozen novelties) has been severely tampered with. The flavors are now made with more "natural" ingredients. The colors and tastes are COMPLETELY off.

There will be a reckoning.

Real Jell-O Pudding Pops.

I can picture Cosby selling those to me now.

As for those Chili Cheese Burritos from Taco Bell sorry you can't get them. They are in my area. I know it's been at least 3+ years since the name change, but they used to be known as the Enchirito.

I miss TB's Frito Burrito. For years I could still order it off menu, but they finally cut that out once Sonic was licensed to sell a Frito Burrito. In my opinion the Sonic version stinks.

I miss Corn Quistos. They were like Combo's, but 1000x better. It was corn chip tubes instead of pretzel.

I miss the original Take 5 candy bar from Hershey's. It was like a huge single piece of a Kit Kat that was peanut butter flavored.
Take 5 commercial from the 80s (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jt5bDUtztd8)

I miss Disney Mickey's Magic cereal. It was like Lucky Charms, but again much better.
http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/7/74/Cereal_kelloggs_mickeys_magix.jpg

Lastly, I miss the Louisiana Chicken w/ Andouille from the Cheesecake Factory. They brought back something similar except it used to come with white rice and was 3x the portion size.

Lots of Taco Bell mentions here. Being a TB junkie myself, and as a former employee my all time favorite foods from there were the volcano tacos...I would die for one right now, the bacon cheeseburger burritos, the volcano burritos, the BLT tacos, and the cheesy gordita crunches...I also pity those who can't get the chilli cheese burritos at their locations. It has stood the test of time in my favorites. Always ask for sour cream on it for an added delight :2 Also extremely miss the green sauce you could ask for on anything for free :D I'm talking about when they put it directly onto the item not when they started giving it out in packets.

Other foods I miss are the Peanut butter Twix's, Bon-Bons, and White Castles. There aren't any here in this part of OH. Even the ones I do get to, I miss the greasy paper bag :r I would trade our Arthur Treachers here for a White Castle any day!! Nobody here in town ever goes there to eat.

Back when I was a lil' fella I was a fiend for Slurpees. Now, anyone familiar with 7-11's Slurpee protocol back in the 80's knows that there were always 2 choices: the ubiquitous Coca-Cola, and a sort of flavor-of-the-month pulled from a flavor rotation. The absolute pinnacle of the latter was Candy Apple. The 1492 of Slurpees.

7 Up Gold. Spicy like ginger an cinnamon. Good mixer.
+1 ! ! !

Completely forgot about that one.

Mase
Can still get the original Surpees up this way. Heck, the Distributor is in my Home Town.

Not discontinued but I really miss Hardees Sweet Tea, Waffle House, and Checkers. Things they don't have out here.

You think you guys have it tough? Hardees left New England when I was too young to remember. Waffle House and Checkers have never dared to come into New England... best we have is Cracker Barrell.

I used to buy that stuff for a dime a can when I was in middle school.

I would like to see the Crispy M&Ms come back to the States.

There's a waffle house here in Mesa right by my house. FYI, Hardee's and Carl's Jr. are the same.

Ah. I've never been a sweet tea fan, didn't notice it in the Hardee's in Charlotte when I was there.

Charlotte, NC?
Charlotte doesn't like to be claimed as part of North Carolina or the South as a whole, so the Hardees' there might not sell sweet tea.

Pepsi Kona was the BEST! Coffee flavored Pepsi. I grew up a few miles from a Pepsi bottling plant and they used to send free bottles of new blends to us locals. Sadly it never made it out of east coast testing to the best of my knowledge. I would have mainlined a 2 liter of the stuff.

There is a store brand local to MA and NH that was available as recently as February and now my local store manager is saying that it is not in the ordering data base, Market Basket brand Chipotle Relish. Very good product and hard to find a replacement for it. My hot dogs were most excellent with this relish, spicy brown mustard, sricha sauce and celery salt on them.:D

Backordered. They only sell this gum every few years for a short time. Luckily, that time is next month. I think I will stock up on some clove and some beeman's while it is available. I wonder how it will keep? Thanks for the link.
