Can anyone help a newbie out?
What is the recommended site to look up unknown cigars... and maybe get some more info on them? Any help is always appreciated.

You can check the internet vendors like Cigars International or, as S15 said, post pictures here and let the inmates try to help.

ill ask again... are you looking for information on Cuban cigars or Non Cuban cigars?

What brand? Vitolas.net is great for Fuente's, Padrons, Tat's, and many other premiums.

Great... Thanks Again for the responses. I was looking for something along the lines of a "Cigar Encyclopedia." Was hoping for somewhere to look up cigars by brand and get some more info on them.

its all the same cigar just with a different band.
I don't know of any encyclopedia style site for non-Cuban cigars. There are plenty of review sites though. The one I always used to use is um, sort of unpopular here. :ss
