After posting earlier about my record of 5 cigars in one day and seeing some of the replies, I thought this would be fun to see who are the real men on this forum.
So...how many cigars have you smoked within a 24 hr period?

First time posting a poll, so hope this works.

Well... I don't typically like to smoke a whole lot in one day so I don't do it often... but sometimes you get in a mood and its easier when youre playing poker... so one friday night I smoked 5 sticks while playing poker, and then a couple the next morning... so 7 is my personal best and I only smoked that many once. My next best probably is around 4-5.

Just had a herf at my house (All Cali Herf), and I smoked 7 from noon to 2 a.m. the next morning. Savor the Stick (Kevin) smoked 14 in the same period. I think 7 is the most I could have smoked. 1 more and I probably would have been sick. :pu

While I don't think it proves who the real men are...I voted 7 since that's the most I can remember.

I know that sometimes people will only smoke 3-4 really good cigars at a herf so that they don't ruin their taste buds/palette. Someday I'll be at a 24hr herf and see what that's like to smoke from breakfast to late dinner. :tu

I have been smoking a lot less NCs lately though as I explore the dark part of the forest... but I still have a soft spot for my Fuentes and I still try to smoke at least one a week... :D

I wanted to say four but I just can't remember having more than three in a sitting. I've only smoked a handful of times in the morning and it was never after a night of smoking. Usually I'll smoke more when I drink but I think three is the max.

I am a total wuss. The poll does not go low enough for me. Mine is 2, and that was when I was playing poker at night on a friday, and then went shooting in the morning on Saturday. However, in those respective "days" I only had the one.

This does not count bowls of fine baccy enjoyed through my pipes though. I went crazy one day and had three of those.

Wow! I am stunned. At this point, about 48% or almost half of the voters outdid my whimpy 5 smokes. I expected a lot to be higher, but not that many. And the top catagory is "over 10"?

Most I have done is 5 and that was at our monthly herf. Would be a waste to do anymore then that for me. My taste buds were fried after.

At MMHII in Chicago, 18 was the total not including PPP's. Thought I was a goner in between 5 and 6, but rallied and made it through. The next morning we thought we would not smoke for a long time, and made it almost 30 minutes. :r

Awesome herf. Learned that there really is no limit to the amount of fun you can have in a day!

everyone within sight easily smoking 10-15 or more cigars in a day, go to a
really epic herf.
But herfs ASIDE, my record is 8. I regularly took in 7-8 cigars every saturday
back when I first started smoking alot. But at the Shack herf, 10-18 a day is
pretty common.

6 in a day is my record, but I usually smoke one when I am alone (and not every day) and two or three when I am spending an evening at casa SmokeyNL or at a small herf that we have on a regular basis here in Amsterdam. At the big herfs I smoke 5 or 6.

More that some circumstances are hardcore. (Herfs) Waking up and starting to smoke at 8:00 am and basically smoking till 3 am.... do the math. :D

I try to stay between 3-5 a day but 10 or 10 plus for special occasions is fine by me. also I count every 2 party shorts as one

My max was eight. And as I mentioned on the other thread, I had some serious "Sand Paper Tongue" the following day. I couldn't taste much of anything.

On a regular day, I try to smoke three. One in the morning after I drop the kids off at Catholic School, one (late afternoon) while doing homework with the kids on the patio (I'm always following the wind to avoid smoke in their face), and one downstairs in my office after everyone goes to sleep.

Most I've had in one day was probably around five. The only herfs I've been to (kansas city herfs) I average 2-4 sticks.

Still gotta make it out to one of those mega herfs... gosh.

I did 23 once at the first Holiday Herf held in Whippany a few years ago. At herfs I usually smoke about a dozen to fifteen. Normal everyday total is 5-7. :ss:ss:ss:ss:ss

PPP is a puff-puff-pass, where several smokers share multiple cigars to sample them and experience their contrast. On the days that I smoked 17-18, I also smoked portions of dozens of other cigars in puff-puff-passes. :)

The only day I smoke more than one is if I am fishing. Monday was a great cigar day, but only caught one fish, about a 5 pound Rainbow. Oh yeah, almost forgot, I caught about 20 suckers - foul-hooked most of them
