Anita got her first pipe at the Richmond Pipe Show recently. Nording, her first bowl was Old Gowrie, her reply was this is a bit mild. Then she tried Smokers Haven 20th Anniversary Mixture which she loves. Got to admit I really like it to.

Is it a "Drinkless"? I have an old Kaywoodie Drinkless that was gifted to me. The guy smoked it once... and as far as I can trace it, it was made between 1938 and 1950.

I've never smoked a stinger pipe, and I've been kind of hesitant to light that one up. It's a pretty one, though...

yes it's a drinkless with the stinger in it. What is the shank number on the pipe, should be on the right hand side of the shank. I have 4 woodies (or pipes made by woodie) and only one has the stinger left in it. two were taken out before got them, one was a screw out and the last still has it. they all smoke them same the ones with the stinger are just harder to clean.

Coolio... I was only 20 years off!

What do you know about the quality of that particular line? Does it tend to be good... bad... or ugly? It looks nice and not full of filled spots, but I haven't smoked it yet.

Yassir, it is... the bulldog tends to be my favorite shape. Sturdy and not overly flashy.

Oooo, Oooooo I know which pipe you're talking about!!

My favorite right now is a Greg Peevey estate pipe that I bought from smokingpipes a few months back.

Savinelli 316KS Pot

2nd pipe owned - Estate pipe purchased off Ebay.
I'm hoping to break out the Dremel soon and polish'er up more. Mainly the stem. There was some oxidation present on the stem which I cleaned up.
It has a great feel to it and I think it will quickly become a favorite.
More pipes will be coming shortly which I'll toss up here as well. :D

Favorite has to be my Birthyear Dunnie, gifted to me by a friend....and a great smoker to boot. This one sees nothing but VA.

http://i144.photobucket.com/albums/r176/lungcookies/68dunhill2.jpg

Most recent, and maybe my best smoker, although a short (20-30 min) smoker, is this Paulo Becker 4-Diamonds. Runs a close 2nd to the Dunnie as my favorite. Again ... VA blends.

http://s144.photobucket.com/albums/r176/lungcookies/pipeswap-110809-06.jpg

Favorites are hard. I've got a few that are favorites for a particular blend or type of tobacco, and dedicated as such. (shrug)

Exceptionally cool pipes, Erat'.

Here is a Brakner cherrywood cleaned up and good for another 50 years. My most recent pipe is not usually the favorite but this one is an exception. Nice everything.

Dan, Your recent posts around the 'net, has me looking at Brakners ..... after I corrected my dyslexia, searching for BraNKers & wondering, how the hell is he finding these pipes

Very nice, Brother.

Very nice, Brother.Coulda been worse; coulda been looking for Wankers. Prices have elevated in the past several years (on Brakners - don't know about current Wanker values). A nice intact pipe at a "Woo hoo!" price isn't so easy anymore.
