Well I finally got my vino set up and running. The RH is about 71% so I need to bring it down. The empty boxes really help the smell also. Then I get the fun job filling it as I don't have whole lot of cigars atm, but that's the best part right? Filling it!:)

Looking good man.

You may want to see if you can get some empty boxes from your local shop to load it up with. Having the extra space taken up will help stabilize the RH swings as the Vino cycles on and off or you open it up.

Looks good. I'm pulling the trigger on one of these, I have to!!! Mind me asking where you got it from? Any particular stores have a better model or will anyone work? I'm going to do some googling on it.

Most of us have gotten them from Target, you can sometimes find them on clearance for anywhere between $99-$149. Good luck :tu

yes, Target is where I got mine for $149.00 Two weeks later I saw one in another Target for $99.00. The only place I have seen them is Target or online.

I picked up a acru-rite hygrometer from Wal-Mart yesterday. It is has been in the ziplock doing the salt test for about 30 hours but is setting at 67% RH. I am thinking it might be off but I am going to let it set to tomorrow and see where it is. I may then do a second salt test just to be sure.

If it is that close don't worry. Just watch it and when it gets below 62 or so put some water on the beads.
