Jack White has a new band, you can hear two new songs on their website. Its pretty good, different with the female singer with Jack White. This is a nice return to the early White Stripe sound.

Subject: Third Man Records Store Grand Opening!
Come celebrate Record Store Day this Saturday, April 18th with Nashville's newest vinyl institution, Third Man Records. While showcasing the Third Man label's first release (The Dead Weather's "Hang You From the Heavens" 7-inch single) there will also be other assorted sundries available…t-shirts, various Third Man related vinyl and whatever else we find laying around and have the common decency to try and sell you (Did someone say cameras? Maybe. USB's? It's possible).
So come on down and meet various members of the Third Man team. Ben and Ben will be there (the third Ben has previous commitments) and they'll be glad to take your money. Cash only please as we don't know how credit cards work and they scare us. No early-birds and street numbers will not be honored. We look forward to meeting you.
Third Man Records
623 7th Avenue South
Nasvhille, TN 37203
Hours: 12 pm-4 pm

went down there yesterday, bought a few 45s, hung out for a bit and evidently missed jack by about 30 minutes. crap.
a friend of mine was there later and jack walked up, chatted with the people there and my friend snapped a few pics of jack chatting with his son. how cool is this?

I think the only Jack White song I can say I actually like is I'm Finding It Harder To Be A Gentleman. I did like that music video with the Legos on mute though.

It is all a matter of personal taste...for instance, I like 90% of the songs Jack White records, yet I think Habanos Torres and Alec Bradley cigars aren't very good.

more new and exciting developments - that is, if you have a bromance with Jack White, like i do... there's a new part of the third man records website called the Vault - it's like a record club, for lack of a better phrase. you sign up and get swag exlusive to the membership. check it out if interested. any questions, i can probably answer them for you...
