View Full Version : World's coolest cigar sculpture!

I was visiting an electronics test lab in Columbia, MD, and of all places, they had this sculpture of a cigar smoker in the lobby of their office. I thought it was extremely cool so I took a picture to share with my fellow inmates. It is life-sized, and has great detail like the eyelashes and eyebrows on the face and the veins on the back of the hand. The part I really liked is how the face "floats" in mid-air, supported only by the cigar. What do you think?

I'm jealous! I was tempted to make them an offer for it, but thought that might be a little inappropriate considering the situation. I'd love to have one though if I ever see one for sale!

That is pretty cool. I would like to find a way to modify it so the cigar end glows and every few mins a little puff of smoke comes out.

When I saw this I kept thinking...I've seen this somewhere before, but couldn't place where. It,very well could of been Dave's "Let's see pictures of your humidors!!" photo. I'm not sure. I am, however, sure that I want one ASAP!!
Good photos and one nice work of art. :tu

Looks like he's "smoking" something else!

$125 seems fair. :)

These were in more than a few shops when I visited Kuala Lumpur a few years back. $125 would have bought me 4 or 5 of them!

Of course... add in the plane ticket to get back there and it starts to get a little more pricey. ;)

Now... if you had bought several back when you were there, look at the cash you could have racked up selling them here in the States. :D
