I'm a cigar smoker that's got the bug for a pipe for some reason. Not sure why, but I'm cruzing pipesandcigars with a big grin on my face. The bug is about to bite me, but I haven't taken the plunge yet. I have no idea where to start, what to buy, what to try, etc. Therefore I'll be lurking here, reading, searching (when we get enough posts to warrant search!) and trying to develop SOME knowledge of where to start. I'm not interested in going back to the old site and doing a bunch of research over there, so I'll be patient and read along.

In the mean time, if there's any info/advice/recommendations/suggestions/whatever you want to share with me, I'm all ears.

Get yourself a cheap Corn Cob and some baccy, and go from there, no sense in spending a lot of money on a pipe if you aren't sure wheter that bug is gonna bite you, or just buzz around your dome. That is what I did. Anything that mister moo has written has been very informative for me. I now enjoy both pipes and cigars.
