Already wasted half a box of Do-si-dos. Working on the last row of Samoas now. I got 10 boxes, so I should be dead by the end of the day.
Wish me luck!!! :tu

Last Row of Samoas : Defeated.
It took a cup of coffee to get them down.
I made a 28 quart bucket of chili yesterday, got 10 boxes of Girl Scout cookies, and I dl'd about 16 movies.
I'm going to have to escape and go up to sofaman's house for a cigar or I'll kill myself for sure. :r

Samoas by far. Peanut butter patties. Thin mints are a distant third. Also like the Thanks-a-lot. :dr

Side note: Keebler makes a suitable substitute for thin mints that are available year-round, they are called Grasshoppers. :tu

Those are Samoas. I ate the whole box.
Then I had a bag of Funyuns for dinner. I'm not sure if I'm gonna make it.

Are there really any Girl Scout Cookies that aren't good??? That being said... Samoas are my favorite.

BTW... Scott won't make the end of the week and we will all be in mourning!!!!

My fiance said that the names are dependent on the baker of the cookies, so each state may be different. There are two bakers, Little Brownie Bakers and ABC Bakers. Some cookies are only made by only one of the companies, the ones that are made by both have different names except for Thin Mints which are made by both. :tu

Samoas - Caramel DeLites
Tag-a-longs - Peanut Butter Patties
Do-si-dos - Peanut Butter Sandwich
Trefoils - Shortbread

interesting. I wonder if the ones around here switched bakeries recently... cause I could have sworn that they were Samoas last year and this year we have the De Lights

still tasty though!!

How'd you guys score so early? They were just taking orders here a couple of weeks ago, and the actual cookies don't come in until the middle of April.

Those Samoas should come with an ER crew.
They are good but man are they deadly.
Don't do the dumb thing I did.
Don't read the package or you will guilt yourself into never eating them again, specially after my visits to my Cardiologist.
Boy I miss them.

If someone could get me two boxes of Samoas and two boxes of Thin Mints I might be willing to send some Habanos Torres out.

We got our Girl Scout Cookies here in KS last month. 3 of the 4 boxes lasted approximately 48 hours with the help of some friends. The last box is Thin Mints and they'll hang out in my freezer to be savored a few at a time.

I'll second the new lemon shortbread cookie.. OMG.. YUM!!

I may have to see if I can't find some girl scouts around town selling their wares.. and by wares, I mean cookies. :D

It must depend on area or which council you report to. My daughter is selling cookies in SE PA. We took orders in early January and the direct sale runs 1/22-3/8.

This Sunday is the last day for our cookie sale. I've seen about 500 boxes go through my house so far. I lost count of how many we opened for our own enjoyment. Plus I stashed two of each kind in the freezer for later.:D

It's like a bad habit...when I run out I just call my 'dealer' and she shows up with more.
