I ended up with a tin of Gawith, Hoggarth & Co's ENNERDALE Flake.
But after reading the reviews posted on tobaccoreviews dot com I'm afraid it might be to "soapy".
Most of the reviews posted were the really like it type, or really hate it.
Are there any CA pipers out there that have any experience with this blend?
If its too "soapy" or perfumy for my taste, what could I blend with it to mellow out that taste?
What other tobacco's out there are in this catagory of "Love It Or Hate It"?

Taste is so very objective that I am sure that many, many, many pipe tobaccos will fall into that category. Some that immediately came to mind for me are:
Dunhill – Royal Yacht
Esoterica – Blackpool
Samuel Gawith – 1792 Flake
Samuel Gawith – Grouse-Moor
GL Pease – Barbary Coast
Gawith & Hoggarth – Dark Birds Eye
Rattray’s – Dark Fragrant

The only blend I've tried that I genuinely hated was Peterson's University Flake
and I know lots of people like it... but I don't know that it's a love it or hate it
1792 certainly seems to be the definition of love it or hate though

Ennerdale was mine as well. Old Joe Krantz was a quick second. I didn't like the tongue/throat coating that it gave me.

I have a tin of 1792 I cannot seem to get rid of. A tobacco I really do not care for, but everyone in my pipe club cannot get enough of, is Dunhill Early Morning. No longer being made and my friends bought the stuff in 5 pound lots.

Fillmore was not a favorite and Bowlegged Bear smacked me around a bit. I'm not a big fan of 1792 either. Seems like every nearly every aromatic rubs me the wrong way. Especially the "Cube".
