I have been in this crazy hobby for over a year and I still think about cigars day and night!!!

I think about what I want to try! How much budget I can spend or how much I'm over budget! I think about trades and Herfs! I think about cigars before I go to bed at night and when I wake up in the morning!

I thought this feeling would fade with some time but it is stronger than ever!

Anyone else have this issue???

It tends to fade in and out but you have the general idea of what it's going to be during a lifetime such as I have been dealing with. 40 years later I still have a strong desire but it gets tempered thru years of dealing with it. For those who are new to this,,,all I can say it you will get used to it,,,,NOT!

It’s a consuming love that borders on obsession. The love might ebb and flow, but it’s still there.

Just imagine how much time each of us spends on this thing of ours.

I think about them a lot; but with my current work & living situation it dulls it a lot for me.

If not for the BABOTL herfs; I would only smoke about once every 2 weeks (and only 1 stick at that).

Hopefully soon my living situation will be changing and I can fire up when I want.

Yes, i had this issue before when i smoked NC's at my local B&M, but then when i started going to the dark side, i stumbled down the never ending slippery slope, and now, i'm in love lol

I've been smoking cigars for 14 years and I still love it. The degree of obsession rises and falls throughout the years, but it is always there. For the past year, the obsession level has been pretty high for me when I discovered more forums and learned to build a coolerdor.

I've passed the obsessed stage and am simply in love. I've been smoking cigars almost as long as my 20-year marriage. I'm a bit obsessed with Habanos, though.

It's the purchases...
It's the taste...
It's the experience....
It's the herfs....
It's the trades...
It's the bombs...
It's the friends behind the screen....

Eeeeeyup......obsession. :D :ss

While I love cigars in general it's those damn habanos that I am having an affair with.:ss

And that sparkle of recognition in the eyes of some lovely you just met, upon nonchalantly revealing the three cigar case, Palio, and giant creme brulee torch in your purse during that Sunday brunch date...

OH yeah! :tu

Or the smell of walking into a good B&M. My stress level drops, all problems stop. It still sometimes amazes me how good that "smell" feels. :)

Man, I love 'em. I've been so into them since I had my first one and even though I've had lots of "obsessions" over the years I don't think I'll ever tire of stogies. I can't think of anything I've ever been so passionate about..just don't tell the missus that!

I am definitely obsessed! It seems like every non cigar purchase is weighed against - "How many cigars could I get instead of that", or "that would go a long way towards that box I want"

I just wish I had a chance to smoke more. I feel like a collector sometimes. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing.

Started as a thing to do from time to time which eventually turned into an obsession but later became a love with small stints of obsession mixed in. If they leave me though I just may become a stalker and my beloved smokes may have to get a restraining order.:r:ss

There is no doubt I have an obsession. But, considering the other things I could be addicted to...I think I can live with this one. :)

The odd thing...normally I go through stages with obsessions and then lose interest...only to move on to something else. This one...no luck there...it just gets more and more expensive. :r
