My roommates' kids are dancing around the house while I have Tom's Real Gone album playing. One of them asked me how he makes the music sound so good. Two months ago they kept saying it was really weird. Ah, children.

Oh you know... just a musician. The guy that wrote that song that Bruce Springsteen is so famous for that he screwed up... Jersey Girl. Or the guy that wrote that song that Eagles screwed up so bad... Ol' 55.

Thanks for the reminder. I've been meaning to listen to this for a little while now. I just turned it on. He came through town a little while back but it was impossible to get tickets because the venue was so small.

venue was small and i'm sure the 'aftermarket' ticket prices were exorbitant, as well - despite tom's efforts to limit scalper's access.
