Getting closer it seems. As stated it isn't the finished product so who knows what changes/upgrades are still to be made. I did chuckle a bit at the end about how the G2 is "thicker than the iphone but not as wide, so it is the same volume just displaced differently" Well it is not as wide because of the slightly smaller screen, but I would prefer a thin phone over one that is thicker but less wide.
Should be cool to see what the final product ends up being, and the price point

Looks pretty good. Myself, I'm waiting for the Palm Pre before I decide to switch over to the G2 or iPhone.

thanks for the info...I like the concept but no keyboard is kind of a downer for me.

Is this version 2 of the original Google Phone? The original one looked very odd, in a bad way, when I was phone shopping. Also, is this European only?

Dunno if you saw a G1 in person. I agree, the photos I saw online looked very strange. Then I walked into the store and saw one in person. It's a very nice looking and feeling phone. Sound quality is excellent, and the feel is of a high-quality device. I picked mine up on the day of release. The G2 lost me when they cut out the full keyboard. I text more than I talk on the phone and a virtual keyboard is a deal-killer.
