Sorry about being gone. My health hasn't been good lately. Migraines and respiratory issues have been beating me up pretty well. I'm hoping this latest round of steroids, antibiotics, and the new antidepressant they have me on will help.
At least the last cigars I smoked were pretty damned good. It's been nearly a week now, I had a Gran Habano Cabinet Selection Robusto and a PAM 64 Principe.
I can't smoke or drink for another week... my bottle of Old Forester Signature is calling and my humidor is feeling neglected.

Hope you get better quick.
I suffer bad migraines and am in Imitrex which has been great.
Holding off any other drugs, but work in the type of environment which puts many a man in an early grave due to the stress.

That's great that mainstream treatments work for you. My two main triggers are dietary (dairy) and the weather. I can avoid dairy but it's really hard because I get cravings for cheese and ice cream and I occasionally break down. The weather is unavoidable though, any major change of pressure usually wrecks me for a few days.
The triptan drugs stopped working for me about 5 years ago. So did all NSAIDs including Toradol except at very early onset dosage. I really dislike opioids/opiates as I very quickly become addicted to them and have done the withdrawal process once before. Unfortunately my pain treatment of choice is illegal in this state and at the federal level. I have to shake my head every time I think of the policies regarding it.
At a prophylactic level of treatment I take feverfew which reduces the severity and frequency, a B-complex supplement, and ashwagnadha capsules daily. These all help but aren't always enough. I'm hoping that the Prozac I'm on now will help on a preventative level as well.

Goodness, sorry to hear about your illness.
I know what it's like to have an immune system shot for a while, not fun at all.
Feel better!

I feel your pain in more ways than one brother, without getting into too much detail about my favorite way to treat stress and headaches. Then again, there's little the gov't and I agree on....
Now California, that's a nice place to live for migraine and depression sufferers....

Injector? Never heard of that. I take probably 2-3 Imitrex tablets a week unless I am feeling good. They're expensive even with my insurance.
One of my coworkers takes Imitrex as well as a daily preventative, which I am considering.

Sorry to hear you have not been feeling well, Matt. I hope the latest round of treatments will give you some relief. Your smokes will still be there when you are ready, they'll just be a little older and mellower.
