I'll take it. Win. Period. Road wins in the NFL are tough.

That was a game they would have lost in the what I now will refer to as the "preseason", or the first month of the regular season.

I am still confused as hell as to the play calls on 3rd and 1 that the boys continue to roll out.

8-4. Daddy is happy.

As much as it pains me to say it, pretty amazing that the Pats went 11-5 after all the injuries they had. Not only Brady in the first half of the first game, but they had injuries all over the place.

Someone save this, it will be the ONLY time I say something that may be viewed as a positive about the Pats.

Really, if you can't convert a 3rd and 2 to win a playoff game, there is nothing you can do.

Twas a wonderful football season anyway. Congrat to the Bolt fans. Santa showered me with gifts anyway:

1) Bill Belicheat and the Cheaterettes watched this game from the comfy confines of their couches, and

2) Tom " The Baby" Brady was finally exposed as the poser he's always been. I've said for years that the Patriots successes had little to do with him, that Belicheat could put a monkey behind center in that system and they would still win.

Guess I was right:D

One thing I was glad to see last week was a much more aggressive defense. Meeks used to drive me crazy as coordinator, with his read and react type scheme he made a career out of turning the garrards qnd penningtons
of the world into world class qb's, letting dink and dunk their way down the field on 10 minute drives. If last week was any indication, Chad "I can't throw more than 5 yards" is going to have to find a new strategy

Why take 30+ minutes to do what you can do in 15? :r

It was hot and muggy out, Peyton wanted to hang on the sideline with the swamp coolers and Tiger Woods anyway.

Good win.

Joseph Addai, in case you didn't notice, there is a damn good looking rook that seems to be adjusting to life in the NFL just fine. Get with it 29.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. Nice. This week is a bonus win, I get to rub it in to the locals that love the Seahawks. Nice.

On a side note, on a Vegas trip in August, I thought it would be a good idea to place a couple Colts bets. One that is looking very good now is the ticket putting down $100 to win $125 for 11 or more wins.

COLTS!!!! Now lets kick Tennesse square in the nuts and put them at 0-5!

I am sitting here having a smoke and watching SD getting taken to the wood shed. NICE! I say Rivers will have a coming apart party about midway through the 4th qtr.

Maybe the Colts do lose this week, they have to lose sometime. But it's getting kind of old listening to how bad they are every week when last time I checked they were 12-0. I've never seen an undefeated team generate such a lack of respect.

Meantime, the Saints who play a pattycake schedule are the darlings.

21-7 Good guys. Don't think we have to worry.

The ESPN guys manufacture their own drama. They have to have something to talk about. The Saints are the good guys because of Katrina. We get picked on because we do have some weaknesses and it drives them crazy that we fight to win each week, rather than coast and run up the scores.

I think pulling everyone out was a bad call... Team loses momentum.

With that said I think we have just as much chance in the playoffs as the Pats.

Anything can happen in the playoffs. You Colts fans should know that. How many times have you had a 14-2 season only to lose in the first round.

Hell I think the "Jets" were one of the teams that knocked out in the first round before. :r:r

Thank you for the win, see you in the playoffs!! Bwhahahahahahahaahahahaha!!!

Having just returned from the land of Indy, I can tell you if we don;t win it all, the city will hunt down Caldwell and cut his nuts off.

I knew it was coming, but I had to listen to it on the radio driving back from my brother's place. My Mom kearned that my vocabulary has expanded!:r

Not looking forward to the Bills game.

We've seen this movie TWICE before and the ending sucked both times.

It sure is going to be interesting? The Colts laid down Sunday, in all likelihood will do it again this week, have a by then go into the playoffs maybe a little rusty?

That is what happened the last two times we went this deep undefeated.:td

Fingers crossed they teach Painter how to play some football.:r

Some great football we were treated to in the NFL the last 2 weeks. I really hope that when the brainiacs are talking about adding 2-3 regular season games they keep this in mind.

Ready for the playoffs!!!!!!!

I am hoping for a San Diego/Indy title game. Then my master plan will have Indy beating SD the same way Indy slayed the New England monster in '06.

I am a good guy and don't ask for much, can't I have this??

It almost makes me sad thinking that some day Peyton won't be playing anymore, for now though, I am enjoying every game of every year.

My first trip to the HOF is going to be when he goes in.

Would have preferred the Jests next weekend. Don't think I like the idea of the Ravens running the ball 50 times. Wouldn't be surprised to see them take the same tack next weekend.

Still can't figure out how they figure what teams plays in what time slot for the playoffs. I would think as the number one seed the Colts would have the Sunday night game, but they have the Saturday night game:confused:

Is this to ensure the number one seed doesn't get a short week if they advance?

Bring on the Ravens. Feeling good about it. NE defense is a train-wreck, I like the Indy fronts chances.

As far as the time, the NFL doesn't even factor in seeding for the Saturday games in the playoffs. It is all about the marque matchup and the ratings game.

Like our chances Saturday. We just need a good clean game and we'll be fine.

You know, I really wanted it to be the Pats and Colts in the AFC Championship game. There would have been no finer way to end the decade then with the two greatest rivals of the decade slugging it out.:)
