Great looking house. My buddy and his family live in that area. It’s a nice, quiet neighborhood that’s close to Hermosa and Manhattan, but without all commotion. I hope you rent it quickly David. :tu

Thanks guys! Mike, you're absolutely right, it's a really great area and basically Hermosa Beach but more quiet....we really had no intention of leaving it almost three years ago now but when my Dad left for Charleston, SC, he made us an offer on his house that we just couldn't refuse.

Do I smell a bidding war??? I love the smell of paint chips, tile and stucco in the morning....
I know CA has high prices and I'm just a dirt poor IT guy trying to make it in the world.... But $3000 a month for 1520 sq ft? I had no real idea about prices in CA. You guys are getting screwed by someone.
BTW, I could rent it at that price and have just enough left over from the paycheck to buy peanut butter and bread. No gas, electricity, cable, or water.

Seriously....it's brutal out here....still. And we really don't want to have to sell it in this market. Ugh, I know it's a lot. Place across the street is going for $3,400/month.....ours is a bargain! :D

Yeah, prices out here are brutal. We could all have really big houses in other states for the price of real estate out here. I guess it comes down to location, location, location. Plus, the weather’s not that bad. :D

Have you put it in the local paper or a town reminder type publication? Maybe try rent.com? Hand out fliers to the neighbors, maybe they know someone looking for a place...
ucla695
02-12-2009, 10:40 AM
You could try WestsideRentals.com. They might have a free listing service because they charge prospective tenants a fee to search their database.
